Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst or Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making processes by analysing and interpreting complex datasets. You will work closely with various departments to gather insights and contribute to the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for data analysis, along with proficiency in various tools and programming languages.

About the Role
Assist in the collection, cleaning, and validation of data from multiple sources.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
Create visual representations of data using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Visio.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Support project management efforts by tracking project progress and ensuring timely delivery of data-related tasks.
Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by contributing to requirements gathering and testing phases.
Develop and maintain databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
Utilise programming languages such as R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell) for data manipulation and analysis.
Document processes and methodologies to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with database design principles and best practices.
Experience with business analysis techniques to gather requirements effectively.
Knowledge of project management methodologies is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks efficiently.
